Ottawa – Beginning on Wednesday, geotechnical investigation work will occur on Highway 174 at the intersection of Quigley Hill Road in east Ottawa. The work is scheduled to take place between Wednesday April 2 and Wednesday April 9, 2014. This work is being done in preparation to intersection improvements at Quigley Hill Road.
Work will be carried out during daytime off-peak hours and will result in periodic single-lane reductions for 1 to 1.5 hours.
The Modifications to Highway 174 and Quigley Hill Road Intersection is a $600,000 project that will provide a new dedicated westbound left-turn lane at Quigley Hill Road with a slip-around lane and extension of existing eastbound right-turn lane at Quigley Hill Road.
