U of O hockey player ‘frustrated and betrayed’ by suspension

A veteran University of Ottawa hockey player says he feels frustrated and betrayed by the university after it suspended its men’s hockey program last month amid allegations of sexual assault. In an open letter to university president Allan Rock, fifth-year defenceman Pat Burns says the university has bestowed a “predetermined assumption of guilt” on all 26 players on the team, and said his name has been smeared.
