The letter from General Motors arrived on Monday, a year-and-a-half after Nick Baker, 22, was killed in a car crash near Cornwall on the way to celebrate his birthday with his parents at Upper Canada Village. His 2006 Saturn had crossed the centre line and collided with an oncoming Ford Explorer just before 6 p.m. on Oct. 18, 2012.
