A “stabaholic” prostitute who killed an Ottawa chef was sentenced to a dozen years in prison Thursday. Jennifer Bird is unpredictable and violent when she uses drugs and alcohol, and the brutality of the stabbing of Simon Hubbard demanded the 12-year sentence, said Ontario Superior Court Justice Julianne Parfett.
