Ottawa police reduce front desk hours at Elgin Street headquarters

OTTAWA — The front desk at Ottawa police headquarters will move away from a 24-hour operation later this month. Starting April 15, the police station at 474 Elgin Street will be open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. to file reports on car crashes and conduct criminal record checks.
