Flood watch for areas east, south of Ottawa

Rising temperatures, pouring rain and melting snow could mean flooding in the Ottawa area, a local conservation authority warned Sunday. The South Nation Conservation Authority, which covers an area east and south of the city, said in a statement it was upgrading its flood outlook status to a “flood watch.”
