刘越遗孀卜凡雁女士将在两位志愿者的陪同下，于四月八日飞往古巴首都哈瓦那将刘越先生的骨灰亲自迎回加拿大安葬。在此我们谨对两位志愿者以及为此在外交方面多方努力的其他志愿者和加拿大领事馆的大力帮助表示衷心的感谢 ！

刘越先生于2014年3月19日，在古巴巴拉德罗与家人度假时，不幸被海浪带走了年轻而宝贵的生命，享年40岁。
刘 越先生1973年10月18日生于中国北京，19岁考入北京工业大学无线电系通迅专业。2000年9月前往加拿大哈利法克斯戴尔豪斯大学求学，并于 2004年获得计算机网络硕士学位。2001年5月刘越先生与相恋多年的高中同学卜凡雁女士在哈利法克斯结为恩爱夫妻，其后成为两位子女的父亲。刘越及其 家人于2009年迁至渥太华，在加拿大税务局信息管理部门任职。
刘越先生是父母的孝子，儿女的慈父，妻子的亲密爱人，他的亲切、友好、乐观和幽默感染着他的每一个朋友、同事和社区。

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Yue Liu at age 40. Yue died accidentally on March 19th, 2014 while vacationing with his family in Varadero, Cuba. Loving husband and best friend of Fanyan Bu; cherished father of Crystal, age 9 and Connor, age 7. He was a well respected and admired colleague at Canada Revenue Agency where he worked as a technical specialist in the IT Branch.
Yue was born in Beijing, China where he lived until coming to Halifax, Nova Scotia in 2000 as an international student. He obtained a Masters degree in Internetworking from Dalhousie University in 2004. Yue and Fanyan were married in 2001 in Halifax, where they lived until relocating with their young family to Ottawa in 2009.
Yue will best be remembered as a loving and devoted husband, father and son. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family and playing with his children.
Yue will be greatly missed by all his family, friends and colleagues. His kindness, dedication and wonderful sense of humour touched everyone he knew.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so Saturday, April 12th, 2014 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Capital Funeral Home, 3700 Prince of Wales Drive, Ottawa, Ontario. Funeral service to follow from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Online tributes at：
