Ottawa – Disruptions to regular operations are expected during the replacement of a truck scale at the Trail Road Waste Facility, scheduled from 7 a.m. on Friday, April 25 to 6 p.m. on Monday, May 5, 2014. These delays are not expected to have an impact on residential garbage collection.
Service delays are anticipated as one of the two scales is replaced at the landfill, which is located at 4475 Trail Road (off Moodie Drive, south of Fallowfield Road).
Regular hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday, and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. The facility is closed on Sundays.
The City of Ottawa thanks residents for their patience during this transition.
