Four Barrhaven railway crossings ‘back to normal’, Via says

Four Barrhaven railway crossings, where frequent reported glitches made Via Rail put in place extra precautions, are now “back to normal,” the Crown corporation said Thursday. As of 7 p.m. Thursday, flagmen will no longer be posted to crossings at Fallowfield Road, Greenbank Road, Jockvale Road and Strandherd Drive, said Via spokesman Jacques C. Gagnon.
