More than a year after the old La Nouvelle Scène theatre on King Edward Avenue was demolished, the site remains an empty hole in the ground with no apparent signs of construction. But after project delays and a design revision, organizers say there’s finally a timeline for rebuilding the theatre, a staple in the city’s francophone arts community.
