Amy Paul suspect’s alibi bolstered by out-of-town charges on night of Ottawa killing

OTTAWA — A suspect in the Sept. 3 killing of Amy Paul has been arrested on charges for another crime that puts him out of town and on surveillance video the night police believe the Ottawa sex-trade worker died. Jacques (Big Jack) Rouschop was charged Friday afternoon in L’Orignal, east of Ottawa near Hawkesbury. Police allege he played a key role in the theft of commercial lawn tractors.
