Ottawa – The final spring of construction at Lansdowne will kick-off as Mayor Jim Watson and Ward Councillor David Chernushenko are joined by representatives from OSEG and D&G Landscaping to plant one of the new trees in the urban park. Bernie Ashe, CEO, Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group (OSEG) will also provide a brief update on the current progress at the stadium, TD Place, from field level.

Time: 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Location: Lansdowne
Media will have an opportunity to view the current state of construction in the urban park, stadium and the retail area.
A shuttle bus will be provided from the Lisgar Street entrance of City Hall. Access to Lansdowne is only available on the shuttle bus. As this is an active construction site, attendees are required to wear long pants, safety boots and safety glasses. A safety vest and hard hat will be provided.
