A bookie who ran a sports-betting website for organized crime was sentenced Tuesday to 18 months in jail. Gary Saikaley admitted to being the administrator of an illegal gaming website that took in about $5 million in bets in a little more than a year and netted organized crime in Ottawa nearly $1.2 million in profit.
