It wasn’t OC Transpo’s fault, mayor says of latest rail signal problems

Mayor Jim Watson has fired back at Via Rail, demanding Thursday morning that the Crown corporation correct its claim that an OC Transpo bus caused the latest signal problem at a Barrhaven rail crossing. Via Rail said this week that a signal issue Monday evening at the Fallowfield Road crossing was caused by an OC Transpo bus stopping beyond the stop line and under the gate as it was being lowered.
