City of Ottawa suspends taxi licence of man accused of first-degree murder

Murder accused Bhupinderpal Gill’s taxi licence suspended by the City of Ottawa on Thursday. Gill, an OC Transpo bus driver, was also a licensed cab driver, though it’s unknown whether he was recently continuing to work as one. He obtained the licence in 2002. He also had a taxi plate holder license.
