Special Investigations Unit probes fatal crash after OPP chase near Renfrew

The province’s Special Investigations Unit has been called in after a fatal single-vehicle crash south of Renfrew. Ontario Provincial Police said in a news release Thursday afternoon that police stopped a vehicle for speeding on Hwy. 41 but when the officer approached the vehicle, the driver fled.
