Ninety couples get married … all over again

Marriage is a lifelong commitment to each other, a partnership and a sacred pact with God, said Archbishop Terrence Prendergast to a large group of couples who came to Notre-Dame Basilica Sunday to renew their wedding vows. “Your family, friends, fellow parishioners, priests, deacons and I have come here to congratulate you for responding to God’s graces,” said Prendergast at a special mass in which 90 couples renewed their marriage vows.
