Ottawa – Beginning May 20, Elgin Street will be reduced to one lane in each direction from McLeod Street to Frank Street. On-street parking will be removed. The lanes are expected to reopen by mid July 2014.
Access to businesses in the area will be maintained but delays are expected for OC Transpo routes on Elgin Street.
The Gladstone Avenue Reconstruction Project is an $11 million project to replace the existing combined sewer and watermain from Bank Street to Cartier Street, along with road reconstruction and other improvements to the roadway and sidewalks. For more information visit ottawa.ca.
