Police are asking for the public’s help with the investigation of a robbery last week at a pharmacy on Bank Street near Sunnyside Avenue.
Police say a male suspect entered the pharmacy on the 1000 block of Bank Street on May 19, producing a note that demanded prescription drugs. The suspect suggested he was armed, but no weapon was seen. There is a Shoppers Drug Mart at 1080 Bank St.
Police say the suspect fled the building carrying an undisclosed amount of drugs. He was seen leaving on a bicycle headed west on Sunnyside Avenue.
The suspect is described as a white male in his late 40s or early 50s, clean-shaven, about six feet tall. He was wearing sunglasses, a black hooded sweatshirt, a black T-shirt with an AC/DC band logo on the front, a black baseball cap, black gloves, blue jeans and white sneakers.
The bicycle, described as either a mountain or hybrid bike, was also black.
