渐渐长老看错了,angel2003 说的是USPS(U.S. postal service,而不是UPS),俺记得USPS的airmail是少有打税的(但也不是绝对)，而UPS是100%打税。

However I think angel2003 is confusing the US taxes with Canadian taxes. USPS is not going to charge you for US sales taxes, but depending on the items imported, you'll be charged with Canadian duty (no fixed percentage, varies according to items imported, origin of manufactured goods, etc), plus the usual GST+PST. Canada Post also charges a $5 processing fee (when the parcel enters Canadian territories, Canada Post takes over the responsibility).

Items less than $20 in value can be exempted from all duty and taxes, with the exclusion of tabacco and alcohol. More info on the CCRA website.
