An Ottawa couple have been charged with sexually assaulting two teenaged girls at a home in west end Ottawa.
Twenty-year-old Caroline Budd and 31-year-old Antonio (Anthony) Comunale were arrested Wednesday “without incident” after police executed a search warrant. They were each charged with two counts of sexual assault; sexual assault with a weapon; assault with a weapon and forcible confinement.
On May 22, two 16-year-old girls reported to police they had been sexually assaulted by a man and a woman at a house in Ottawa’s west end. The incidents occurred May 17 and May 18, according to police.
The pair are set to appear in court Thursday.
