Ottawa police are investigating after a man suffered serious head injuries in an apparent assault in the 300 block of Rideau Street Friday afternoon.
Paramedics took one man to hospital in the incident with “traumatic head injuries,” said J.P. Trottier, a spokesman for the Ottawa Paramedic Service. The incident occurred at about 3:30 p.m.
“When he arrived at the hospital he was in very serious condition,” Trottier said.
Police are at the scene, but Const. Marc Soucy, had no details about what had occurred.
