Environment Canada issues special weather statement

A special weather statement has been issued by Environment Canada for parts of Eastern Ontario and Gatineau warning that a band of showers and isolated thunderstorms will move through the region bringing heavy downpours.

Severe thunderstorm watches or warnings may be issued if conditions are favourable.
