Ottawa – As part of Doors Open Ottawa, the City of Ottawa is hosting a public showcase called Meet your City Services, on Saturday, June 7, 2014.
The interactive showcase will feature animated displays and information booths from all City departments, providing an opportunity for residents to learn about the many services City employees provide.
Several City-owned vehicles will also be on display, including a fire truck, paramedic unit, historical bus, bookmobile, and a split-body collection truck for both recycling and organics, among others. Local performers will entertain visitors throughout the day.
The showcase takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Jean Pigott Place and Marion Dewar Plaza at City Hall (110 Laurier Ave W). For more information, visit ottawa.ca.
