Highway 17, east of Highway 60, closed after tractor trailer collision

Ontario Provincial Police were investigating a collision Monday morning between a tractor trailer and an SUV near Renfrew that shut down a section of Highway 17, east of Highway 60, in both directions. Police said a tractor trailer was on its side.

The crash happened around 6:45 a.m.

OPP said the road was expected to remain closed for several hours and drivers were advised to take alternate routes.
