Two people are being treated by paramedics after they had to be extricated from a vehicle that hit a house on Steeplechase Drive in Kanata early Sunday morning.
At around 9:30 a.m., Ottawa Fire received a report that a van had hit a house.
Upon arrival, crews saw the van was on its side, immediately stabilized the vehicle and extricated two people through the windshield.
Officials said both patients, who were conscious and talking at the time, are receiving care from paramedics.
There was minimal damage to the house, and it’s unknown if anyone was home at the time of the accident.
