Ottawa – On Sunday, June 22, new summer schedules go into effect and several new routes will be introduced that offer weekend service to local museums and beaches, and service to the Queensway Terrace North community.
New schedules will reflect the lower demand for service during the summer vacation period. School routes will be suspended until the fall, and there will be minor schedule reductions on mainline and peak period routes. New schedules are available at OC Transpo Sales Centres, by calling 613-741-4390, and at octranspo.com.

Summer service improvements include:
- New service to local museums and beaches operating on weekends and holidays throughout the summer until September 1. Route 129 will serve the Canada Aviation and Space Museum, Route 185 will operate to the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum and Experimental Farm, and Route 198 will serve Petrie Island. Note that Route 198 will start June 21. Connections can be made to these routes at major Transitway stations. Service will operate every half hour between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., and until 6:30 p.m. on Route 198.
- Two new routes will provide transit service to the community of Queensway Terrace North during selected time periods, which will reduce walking distances for residents and provide connections to rapid transit service, shopping and more. Route 154 will operate between the community and Lincoln Fields Station, while Route 155 will operate to Pinecrest and Bayshore Stations.
