If you mean constance lake, which you go west along 417 then exit to north along march, then ..... north....
I went to there once for fun this spring,
and know something.
1> you can rent boat, motorized or paddling,
forget the price, may be around 40 for motorized and 20 for paddle's
2> you can use your boat if you have
3> I got so information from one book named as Ottawa Travval/outdoor recreation, it was said constance lake has lot of kinds of fishes and especially bass.
and also I got the same information by talking with a guy who lives there. :0

Constance Lake is about a 30-minute drive northwest of Ottawa. It is best approached from Ottawa traveling west on Hwy 17 and Hwy 49 and then Hwy 9. Constance Lake is an almost circular lake with a single basin. The lake is relatively fertile with a surface area of about 325 acres and a maximum depth of only about 15 ft. On the road leading from highway 9 to the lake, a boat launcing ramp is available at the restaurant for a small fee.
Fishing Constance Lake

Game Fish species in the lake include: northern pike, largemouth bass, black crappie, yellow perch, pumpkinseed and brown bullheads (Species list from 1998 survey of MNR). Constance Lake has been known as a northern pike lake but black crappies are becoming more abundant and are challenging to catch. Largemouth bass are also abundant and are explosive with surface baits. Unfortunately, when we were on Constance Lake in the summer of 1999, we caught no game fish and the water was cloudy with abundant silt. We saw numerous large carp jumping during spawning activities leading us to believe that game fish species in Constance Lake will rapidly decline.
