A 66-year-old man was charged Thursday after he was accused of sexually assaulting a female student during a tutoring session.
The Ottawa police sexual assault and child abuse unit charged Mohammad Al with one count each of sexual assault, sexual exploitation and sexual interference.
Police said the girl told her father what happened when she got home from the tutoring session on Sunday evening. The father then phoned police.
Ali was to appear in court Friday.
