Ottawa – On Saturday, June 21 at 7 a.m. the intersection of Albion Road and Leitrim Road will be closed until Monday, June 23 at 6 a.m. This closure is required to install a new watermain.
Construction will take place on Leitrim Road between the abandoned CPR rail corridor and Albion Road and on Albion Road between Leitrim Road and Del Zotto Avenue.
Lane reductions and signed detours will be in place for the duration of work. Traffic will be diverted along a signed detour. Signage will be posted for motorists and cyclists. OC Transpo will be flagged through the intersection.
The project will install a new 610 mm watermain along Leitrim and Albion Road and will bring additional capacity and reliability for continued community growth in the Leitrim area.
