A McMaster University Medical Centre scientist accused of planting a video camera in a shower stall at a campground was charged again on Friday, this time with making child pornography.
Police said the video camera was hidden in the shower stall at Lake of Two Rivers in Algonquin Provincial Park sometime between Oct. 11 and Oct. 14, 2013.
The camera was found in the shower stall last October, but detectives did not track down a suspect until months later.
Toran Sanli, 30, was charged with two counts of voyeurism after what police have called an extensive investigation by officers with the Renfrew OPP crime unit, Killaloe OPP detachment, Smith Falls identification unit and the Ministry of Natural Resources.
On Friday, police charged Sanli with one count of making child pornography.
