Ottawa police are asking for the public’s help to identify two women in connection with a suspicious package containing a hoax explosive device found Monday inside a McDonald’s.
Police said the incident happened at 99 Rideau St. around 11:15 p.m.
The first suspect is described as caucasian, 18 to 25 years old, with a thin build and long straight dark hair. She was wearing a white top, beige shorts, flip flops and a pink backpack.
The second suspect is described as black, 18 to 25 years old, with a thin to medium build with dark curly hair. She was wearing a black T-shirt with white lettering and black-and-red checkered shirt over it.
