Ottawa – Beginning on Monday, June 30, Industrial Avenue and six adjacent streets will be resurfaced. Industrial Avenue is in poor condition, and resurfacing will improve transportation across this corridor.
Motorists, pedestrians, transit users and cyclists should anticipate delays due to this construction activity.
The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of August. The City of Ottawa is working closely with the contractor to complete the work as quickly as possible while minimizing noise and disruptions to local residents.
To expedite the construction schedule, work may also be done during the week overnight, between 6 p.m. and 7 a.m. Some weekend work is also anticipated.
The project will result in the following traffic impacts:

- Work along Industrial Avenue from Alta Vista Drive to Russell Road will occur outside of peak periods. One lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained at all times. Night work may also occur along this section of road.
- Work along Industrial Avenue from Riverside Dr to Alta Vista Drive will occur at night only.
- Work at the Riverside Drive and Industrial Avenue intersection will occur at night only.
