Lane reduction on northbound Colonel By Drive starts July 2

Ottawa – Motorists and cyclists are advised that northbound Colonel By Drive, from Daly Avenue (the road that runs between the Westin Hotel and the Ottawa Convention Centre) to Rideau Street will be reduced by one lane, from July 2 to approximately mid-December.

In addition, the sidewalk on the Rideau Centre side will be closed and pedestrian traffic will be detoured the west-side sidewalk.

The lane closure is required for Cadillac Fairview’s Rideau Centre expansion project. Some traffic delays may be experienced during peak hours.
