Girls, 15, charged in bomb hoax at downtown McDonalds

Ottawa police have charged a pair of 15-year-old girls in connection with a bomb hoax McDonalds restaurant at 99 Rideau St. last Monday.

The girls, who were not identified under the terms of young offenders legislation, face charges of mischief.

Police had issued an appeal for public assistance in the case, including security camera footage of the two suspects.
