After offering free transit on Canada Day OC Transpo put new fare increases into effect Wednesday.
Those paying change, get your nickels and dimes ready: the fare is now $3.45 for a single ride, up another five cents.
Presto fares are also up, now $2.77 for a single ride. Children’s fares are $1.85 cash, $1.53 on Presto; express fares are now $4.90 cash, $4.18 Presto.
Monthly passes for adults are $100.75, or $124.25 express.
For students aged 13 to 19 passes are $80.25 regular or $94.25 express. Seniors pay $40.75 for a transit pass that is valid for all routes.
