The roof of a single-storey commercial building at 5977 Hazeldean Road in Stittsville collapsed Wednesday just after 12 p.m.
No one was seriously hurt but paramedics treated a 41-year-old man for a minor shoulder injury. The man was the operator of a forklift.
Fire services reported at the time of the incident they believed one person may have been trapped underneath the collapsed area, but confirmed on site that the building had been evacuated and that no one was caught in debris. The collapse appeared to be minor, firefighters said.
The incident is being investigated by police and the Ministry of Labour.
