The Ontario Provincial Police’s child sexual exploitation unit charged a Rockland man Thursday with child pornography offences after a six-month investigation.
Police from the Russell detachment of OPP, the exploitation unit and the technical crime unit searched the man’s house Thursday, finding two computers and a cellphone that allegedly contained images of child sexual abuse.
Jean Lévesque, 62, is charged with three counts of possession of child pornography and one count of accessing child pornography. He was to appear in court for a bail hearing Thursday afternoon in L’Orignal, Ont.
Police are continuing their investigation.
