新手红灯左转，收到罚单了，求问降低罚款额度的办法

上个月晚上十点多,因为到处都在construction，在downtown转悠了好久，找了好久的高速口，最终看到在Catherine 和O‘connor那可以上的时候，特别兴奋，前面车左转了，我跟着就上高速了，没有注意到当时是红灯（也是第一次遇到上高速的口处有红灯的情况），于是被摄像头拍了。。

祈祷了三周，今天还是收到罚单了，$325实在是太多了，求问可以被少罚点的办法。

给了三个option
1. plea of not guilty, to have the trial

2. plea of guilty and make submission as to penalty (amount of dine or time to pay)

3. plea of guilty, and pay the total payable

看之前帖子说第二种可以减少罚款，但是我还是有两个疑问
1. 如果选了第二种，会不会有被扣分的风险？
2. 这个plea of guity是上庭的意思吧，流程大概什么样？需不需要专门请假来腾出一天或半天的时间？

楼主昨天去认罪了， 排了队，队伍不长
进去后表明要认罪，说明了车是我的，这是这个车的第一个罚单，不是故意的，没有表明是谁开的，人家也没问
又说明了真的很缺钱，信用卡要还，车是lease的，刚毕业，等等。。 最后罚款降到了90
从进去到交完钱走人，一共20多分钟

以后开车一定要小心了

Remember: Under any circumstance, you should NOT tell who was driving the car, to whomever you are talking to. I believe nobody can force you to answer that question and use it against you. However, if you voluntarily state it, that could be used against you.

Option 1 is for trial, and I am not sure I would even want to try that.
