Two new names for streets at Lansdowne — Exhibition Way and Marche´ Way — have been proposed and will be considered at city council on Wednesday.
The names for private roads were put forward in a motion and approved at planning committee on Tuesday, and a third suggestion is expected soon.
Coun. Jan Harder put forward the motion about the names. New names are needed because there are already streets named Lansdowne, which would be confusing for emergency and other purposes, she said.
Season-tickets holders will get their first look at TD Place Stadium on Wednesday. The Ottawa Redblacks will play their Canadian Football League home opener on July 18.
