- Blackwell hits the stage from noon to 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 17, as part of the month-long barbecue and free concert, held every Thursday in July at Marion Dewar Plaza. It’s sponsored by RBC Bluesfest, the Musicians’ Association of Ottawa-Gatineau, and Café 111. This country music trio of singer/songwriter/musicians Carey Blackwell, Danny Blackwell and Braiden Turner will provide a perfect blend of country rock, pop, and haunting ballads.
