A burning barbecue tank on Amiens Street caused an estimated $25,000 in damage Saturday night.
A woman called Ottawa Fire to say her back porch had caught fire as well. By the time firefighters arrived, it had spread to the deck, hedge and fence of the home at 321 Amiens St.
The fire was put out before it could spread to the house, and there were no injuries.
The fire also damaged nearby wires.
