The summer heat might have been too much to handle for a man who attempted to break into a store that sells air conditioning and heating parts.
Ottawa police are asking for public assistance to identify the man, who tried to break in through the front door of Lennox PartsPlus on Parisien Street in the East end the night of June 30.
The man is described as white, wearing a grey hoodie and grey sweatpants. Police also released a security camera image of the suspect.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the break and enter unit at 613-236-1222 ext. 3343 or Crime Stoppers at 613-233-8477 or toll-free at 1-800-222-8477.
