Ottawa - Lane reductions are planned this weekend on the St Patrick Bridge. One westbound lane will be closed on St. Patrick Street, one left-turn lane will be closed on the Vanier Parkway, and one through lane will be closed on Beechwood Avenue. These lane closures will begin on Friday, July 18 at 6 p.m. and will continue until Monday, July 21 at 6 a.m.
This work is a part of the St. Patrick Street Rehabilitation project, a $2.3 million investment to reconfigure and resurface St. Patrick Street and improve cycling facilities along the corridor. The project schedule has been accelerated to provide improved road and cycling infrastructure to local residents and businesses in a more timely manner than originally planned. Work will be completed this fall.
