Ottawa – Lane reductions will occur on Albert Street and Slater Street while the bus-only lanes from Bay to Elgin are resurfaced, and all lanes are resurfaced on Slater Street from Empress to Elgin. This work will occur during off-peak hours beginning on Monday, July 21 and will last for approximately one month.
The resurfacing and sidewalk replacement is being conducted during off-peak hours to lessen the traffic impact on local homes and businesses.
One lane of traffic will remain open at all times. The construction work will continue on the weekends to expedite the work. Motorists can expect traffic delays in the area during this time.
