Ottawa Fire Services made quick work of a smoky blaze at a fast-food restaurant on St. Joseph Boulevard near St. Pierre Street on Tuesday.
Several callers dialled 911 shortly after 10:30 a.m. to report fire and heavy smoke from a restaurant at 2795 St. Joseph Blvd.
Firefighters localized the fire and began a concentrated attack. Clients had already left the building.
The fire was under control at 11:02 a.m. There are no reports of injuries. The cause and damage estimates are not yet determined.
