Two men arrested after a shooting on Bank Street on Wednesday night appeared in court Friday charged with drug and gun offences.
Hussein Mohammad, 28, and Fawaz Abdullah, 25, were remanded in custody and are to appear in court again next week.
Three others arrested with the two on non-weapons charges — Jaber Malji, 25, Michael Cook, 57, and Bryanna MacKay, 18 — were released on a promise to appear in court at a later date.
Police allege shots were fired Wednesday night from one vehicle to another on Bank Street near Heron Road. There were no injuries.
Police later seized two loaded handguns, a car and drugs.
