Client provides software and services solutions that orchestrate Ethernet
transport services across today's IP networks and virtualized next
generation software-defined networks.Their problem domain is filled with
challenges involving Software Defined Networking, Web 2.0, and Cloud
computing. We're looking for people to create elegant and innovative
solutions for a variety of industry leading Service Providers and Cloud
Exchange Providers. This is a high growth opportunity, they have strong
revenue, and are well financed.
My Client plans to hire a broad range of Software Engineers with a wide
range of different skills. They are looking for flexible, adaptable
engineers with a sharp active creative mind to design highly complex
products for large Service and Cloud Exchange Providers.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Knowledge in one or more of the following areas: performance and
scalability, software design, Carrier Ethernet, OSS Software design and
implementation, operating systems
*Competence in one or more programming language such as Clojure, Ruby,
Scala, Python, Scheme, Erlang, Lisp, Java or C++
*Object oriented, functional, or concurrency oriented programming
experience
* Extend existing application components
* Assist with effort estimates and in planning customer deliverables.
* Measure and analyze solutions performance and scalability to assist with
systems engineering and application deployments
* Evolve existing data model to meet demands of new application domains
* Refactor existing code base as required to meet the needs of changing
requirements.
