Colonel By Drive and the Queen Elizabeth Driveway will be reduced to one lane for short periods beginning Wednesday July 30, while paving is being completed on sections of the Rideau Canal Eastern and Western pathways.
Traffic on Colonel By Drive, between Bank Street and Hawthorne Street, and the Queen Elizabeth Driveway, between Bank Street and Laurier Avenue will be slow.
The construction will take place in off-peak hours (9 am to 3 pm) until Friday, August 1, and flag persons will be on site to direct the traffic in both directions in the open lane.
Pedestrians and cyclists will be able to continue to use the Rideau Canal recreational pathway during the work.
