A 21-year-old man was transported to hospital after his motorcycle was involved in a collision with a vehicle at Stevenage Drive and Hawthorne Road in the east end just after 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The man suffered a possible arm fracture as well as abrasions and soft tissue injuries, paramedics said. He was in stable condition.
Police, fire and paramedics were called to the scene of the accident at 12:38 p.m. Firefighters were cleared of the scene almost immediately, when paramedics took over care of the patient.
As of 1:30 p.m. Wednesday police were still clearing the scene of the accident.
